Revealed the Developer of Twisted Metal PS5

Apparently, a new report has revealed the study that is now working on the restart of PlayStation 5 of the Twisted Metal series. In recent months, several reports have emerged that suggest that Sony had resorted to several companies to recover Twisted Metal. Initially, Lucid Games, who is the developer behind dusting All stars was thought that he was the one who worked on the project, but in recent days, it was said that that had changed. Now, we have learned that Sony, instead, delivered the development to another internal study that the editor only acquired during the past year.

According to CVG, Fire Sprite is the new study that is now working in the latest Metal twisted game for PS5. For those who potentially forgot it, Fire Sprite was barely acquired by Sony last September, which means that this is one of the first important titles in which the company will apparently work as part of PlayStation Studios.

And although this news can be annoying for those of Lucid Games, it seems that it will not be entirely bad. The report continues to affirm that some Lucid developers have apparently moved to Fire Sprite to continue working on Metal twisted. Specifically, Matt Southern, who previously served as Director of Multiple Torment Games, is one of these people who were noticed that recently made the transition from Lucid to Fire sprite. Currently, it is not known if other developers will make this transition or not, but both studies are located geographically close to each other, which means that such exchange would be feasible for many.

For now, we do not know exactly when this new Metal returned delivery could arrive, but PlayStation apparently wants the project to align with the next television series based on the property that is also under development. And although that television program still does not have an established launch date, 2023 seems to be the launch window in which Sony is working at this time.

What do you think that Fire Sprite is the new developer of the PS5? Metal twisted game? And do you think that this rebirth will be up to the previous entrances of the series? Let me know in the comments or contact me on Twitter in @ Mooreman12.
