Steam Deck: Not all Xbox Game Studios games compatible
A few weeks after the publication of the Valves Steam Deck, which has turned out to be a successful start despite some shortcomings, some games with the new handheld console are compatible. Nevertheless, some other titles need still support.
Recently, the Xbox Game Studios have published a list of games in a news update to Steam, which are supported by the console and which are not. With the “verified” license plate psychonauts 2, lightblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, BattleTeads and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood.
Other titles have the status “playable” and can be played with smaller adjustments. These include Sea of Thieves, Forza Horizon 4, Forza Horizon 5, Quantum Break and State of Decay 2.
Due to non-existent anti-cheat support, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Halo Infinite, Gears 5 and the Microsoft Flight Simulator are marked by the Xbox Game Studios for the time being as “not supported”.
The hope is that the Xbox Game Studios entrusted the games to other studios so that they could be supported sooner or later on the handheld.
