Ubisoft reported that the development of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will now be engaged in Ubisoft Montreal, which is taken by the Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai project. In their message to Ubisoft fans, they said that this was done to provide a “remake of classics of all time in the best quality.”

To be more accurate, Ubisoft Montreal will now be the main studio in the development of the project, and Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai will receive time for regrouping and will help to create this remake.

It also means that the development of the Prince of Persia remake: The Sands of Time is clearly not nearing the end and the release will have to wait for some more time.
