Warner Bros. Games announces a close Alpha for Multiversus today, the new, free playable platform fight game, which is developed by Player First Game and in which a steadily larger group of iconic characters from legendary universes compete against each other. The close Alpha will take place next week from May 19 to May 27th and allows invited players to test the latest content from Multiversus. The Alpha includes the team-based 2-against-2 mode and a variety of popular characters and personalities such as Batman (DC), Shaggy (Scooby-Doo), Bugs Bunny (Looney Tunes) and Arya Stark (Game of Thrones).

The Closed Alpha will be available for PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X | s, Xbox One and PC with a complete cross play and also has a rollback set code that is based on dedicated servers to go for a smooth online competition care for. Players can now register at Multiversus.com to get the chance of participating in the closed Alpha. Registration does not guarantee access because the participation places are limited. In addition, a new multiversus video is published today, in which two members of the Player First Games develop teams of development against two players from the professional fighting game community (FGC). Tony Huynh (game director, player First Games) and Daniel Kraft (main developer, player First Games), Tyrell “Nakat” Coleman and James “Void” Makekau-Tyson in a best-of-throat series in 2- towards 2- Mode of the game. The match also made it possible to take a first look at the “Scoobys Spukhaus” card, which will be available during the Closed Alpha.

It is also announced today that there will be a multiversus 2 vs. 2 tournament at the Evolution Championship Series 2022 alias Evo, one of the largest and longest-running fighting game events in the world.
